Stephen is a spinet maker who will be bringing one of his own spinets to ORF for people to play .  It is for sale and he is happy to take orders for more!  His wife, Rosemary, will accompany some groups during the weekend playing the spinet.

Early Music shop

The EMS will  bring a selection of instruments for you to play and buy.

Accommodation

Culford School (IP28 6TX – www.culford.co.uk) contains a Grade 2 listed main house with more modern accommodation and classroom blocks set in extensive landscaped grounds, close to the historic town of Bury St Edmunds.

All accommodation is in twin rooms with a sink – you choose either sole occupancy or shared if you come with someone.  Showers and toilets are shared and regrettably none are disabled-friendly.  All rooms are on the ground or first floor – please indicate on the booking form if you require a ground floor room.

Movement will be necessary during the day between dining, playing and accommodation rooms –  these are 200 yards apart via paved surfaces with some slight slopes.  (But you can drive or arrange a lift between them)

The school does not have an alcohol licence, but you are welcome to bring your own tipple if you wish.

Booking

Prices are on the booking form which is on the application form button to the left.

The closing date for bookings is 12th October, but earlier bookings would ensure your place and help us considerably.

If your “full-package” booking and payment are received by the end of July you save £10!

Regrettably we cannot accept standalone bookings for students under Year 12, but Year 11 and under are welcome as long as they are accompanied to all sessions by a playing, responsible adult.
